Welcome to William Land Elementary School

Welcome William Land (WL) Lions as we embark on 111 years together. WL is a two-time CA Distinguished School recipient (2008 & 2018) along with recognition in 2018 with an Exemplary Arts Program Award! Our school stands and delivers with a staff-created Focus Wheel which outlines non-negotiable expectations we have of ourselves to remain student-centered as we strive to cultivate a school-wide community that practices the 7 Habits of Leader in Me.

TK and Kindergarten

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten are exciting first steps in your child’s learning journey! TK gives younger children a nurturing start, while Kindergarten builds confidence with reading, math, and hands-on discovery. Both programs help your child get ready for a bright future in school.

Our Dual Language Mandarin Immersion Program (MIP) fosters bilingual fluency, builds cultural awareness, and instills academic excellence.

Visual and Performing Arts

WL students are exposed to visual and performing arts through arts integration as well as enrichment opportunities. Each year, our students are provided with a myriad of arts opportunities to foster creativity, develop self-expression, and build critical thinking.
